Carol's Green Chip Index is a fully Volunteer organization that began August 2008 & was an index of 30 alternative, renewable and or clean energy companies; eco-friendly. It is now only an index of 16 stocks. The index is updated daily, the website does not express hi / lo stock prices nor trading volumes and the index metric is in US Dollars. Long term, the index should yield to a NEW metric that will simulate the concept of "sustainability," parallel to modeling the concept of perfection or the light which is expressed by the value of 1.0. The "sustainability" metric will revolutionize Wall Street's dependence on using such irrational numbers as pi = 3.14159 or e = 2.71828 or even fhi = 1.618033 (the golden mean).
